Friends’ Book Sales Support Library
Book donations from the community are either added to the library’s collection or sold by the Friends.
Proceeds from the Friends’ book sales support our commitments to the Billings Public Library and to other literacy-based community projects.
Spring and Fall Book Sales
Twice a year, the Friends fill the Community Room at the library with a vast array of used books for sale.
Volunteers have sorted and priced these books, and categories range from children’s books and DVDs to history and contemporary fiction. All categories are clearly marked for ease of shopping.
The Friends advertise these sales through community media, posters, our website and Facebook. Members of the Friends receive a special email of the dates and times of the public sale and of the preview sale for Members only.
Look for the Book Nook in the retail space next to the Sweet Café coffee shop on the library’s first floor. Here throughout the year you will find a wide selection of prime condition used books at incredible bargain prices!
Book Nook purchases are paid for at the Sweet Café counter.
