Friends of the Billings Public Library welcomes donations of quality used books, DVDs, CDs and audiobooks, which will be sold in the Book Nook or at our community Book Sales.

Please bring donations to the Friends’ workroom next to the Stompin' Grounds Book Café during library hours, if the workroom is closed, donations may be left on or beside the designated shelves in the Book Nook. Current library hours are:

Monday through Friday | 9am–8pm

Saturday | 9am–5 pm

Sunday | Closed

While the Friends’ welcome and rely on donations, we are unable to utilize the following materials:

  • Encyclopedias
  • Magazines
  • Text books (more than 3 years old)
  • VHS tapes or audio cassettes
  • Material in poor condition—books that are musty, moldy, yellowed, water damaged, torn, or with excessive writing

Donations are Tax Deductible

The Friends of the Library is a 501(c)3 charity, and donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law. Receipts are available upon request.

Your Donations Support Literacy and the Library
